Enjoying the slow lane

Now that our Internet is finally working, I feel a bit more relaxed. Contacting family and friends with Skype is so easy, and free! Our Skype address is lukediver1 if anyone wants to call. The past 2 days we have been relaxing into our new house, and preparing for the English meeting this afternoon at 4 pm. I have already been given a part for the meeting tonight. Tomorrow we will be in the ministry, going to David, a larger city about an hour away for the day. I need a hat, and am hoping I will find one there. Plenty of sun in Panama!

Last night, we got together with the Lee's. They are a young couple our age with 2 young kids. They were in a Filipino congregation in Florida, and sold their house in an effort to simplify. They planned on coming to Volcán for 3 months, but after a week or so, decided to move permanently. They have only been here 6 weeks, but are already settling in. Panama has a strong pull on everyone here, including us!
